Gwynne Holford ward looks after patients who have had strokes, spinal problems or amputations- they are at high risk of falls.
The ward requested some new fall monitoring equipment that uses under cushion/mattress pads; this equipment is not covered by the ward NHS budget. The local supplier came to the ward to provide staff training. The equipment is now in use and working well helping to keep patients safe!
