It was St George’s Arts Week recently. The St George's Charity ran some events on Gwynne Holford ward at QMH as part of our £10k arts collaboration.
QMH Resident Artists, Monique and Beth hosted a small ‘Celebration Event’ for the patients who have been engaging in their visits over the past few weeks. This included a performance from Beth (along with St George’s Resident Musician, Heather) of some of the songs she has written with patients, and a small display of some of the artworks the patients have created with Monique.
Monique ran a Staff Wellbeing Workshop for Gwynne Holford Ward making marbling art. Monique was supported by former St George’s Hospital Resident Artist, Emily Stapleton-Jefferis.
